Apps such as Angry Birds are incredibly popular and with the recent tie-in with Star Wars that resulted in Angry Birds Star Wars, we expect that the app is even more popular than ever. The downside is that there are gamers out there who feel that such games do not justify the price they are asking for, despite it merely being a couple of bucks, but the good news is that if you were wondering about the Angry Birds Star Wars hype but didn’t want to shell out good money for it, Rovio has just announced that for one week, they are making Angry Birds Star Wars free for all iPad and iPhone users (it was not specified in their post if iPod touch users would be able to benefit from this as well). Given that the iPhone app only costs $0.99 to begin with, it wasn’t that much they were asking for, but everyone loves freebies right? So if you have yet to get your hands on the game, hit up the iTunes App Store for your free download!
