Additional Sony i1 “Honami” Specs Leaked [Rumor]
Come 4th of September, we can expect Sony to unveil their upcoming device, the Sony i1, which is also known as the Honami. In the past we’ve heard about its alleged specs which seems like a slight upgrade over the Xperia Z, with the key feature being its camera which at that time suggested a 20MP sensor. Now according to the folks at ePrice, they are corroborating those claims with a “confirmation” of their own, revealing that the Honami could feature a 20.7MP ExmorRS sensor which is similar to that in the Samsung Galaxy Camera along with other point-and-shoot cameras as well.
It is also expected to feature a Sony G-Lens, and will sport a 5” 1080p Full HD Triluminos display with X-Reality, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset clocked at 2.2GHz (quad-core), 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded via microSD, and a respectable 3,000mAh battery. Of course since Sony has yet to officially announce anything, take it with a grain of salt for now, but it looks like phones with big cameras are starting to be the “in” thing this year, what with the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom and the recently unveiled Nokia Lumia 1020. What do you guys think? How will Sony’s efforts fare against the competition?
