Xbox One Priced At $499, Ready For November 2013 Release

[E3 2013] Microsoft has just announced that the Xbox One would be arriving later this November (which is not too far away when you think about how fast time flies these days), retailing from $499 upwards, depending on the model of your choice. Certainly half a grand would not be too difficult to save up, and it sure as heck seems to carry far more value than previous holiday presents craze such as Furbies and the ilk. After all, who does not want to enjoy great looking launch titles like Halo on the Xbox One which runs in super smooth 60FPS, so much so that I am tempted to call it Project Butter, much to Google’s chagrin?

Would you be interested in picking up the Xbox One later at the end of this year, or are you willing to wait and see whether Sony’s PS4 is going to have what it takes to prise the hard earned money from your wallet? After all, the clarion call of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain on the Xbox One might be too difficult to resist, in addition to the likes of Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse: Son of Rome, and Battlefield 4. Of course, you could always settle for a redesigned Xbox 360 if you are the type who prefers to remain a generation behind.
