Verizon Launches 32GB Samsung Galaxy S4 For $299.99

We reported back in April that almost half of the on-board storage of 16GB Samsung Galaxy S4 was taken up by apps that the company pre-loaded on it for customers. This effectively left just 8GB of internal storage for customers, these apps included the ChatOn messaging client, S Health, S Travel and more. The work around for this issue is quite simple, Galaxy S4 supports microSD cards of up to 64GB, customers also have the option of purchasing a model that offers greater internal storage. While Samsung did say that it was looking in to freeing up memory on the device through “software optimization.”

Verizon has now launched the 32GB Galaxy S4, which will offer customers with more storage space under the hood. The device costs $299.99 along with a new two year contract with Verizon Wireless. Off contract, the 32GB Galaxy S4 from the Big Red will set customers back $699.99. To put things in perspective, the carrier is offering 16GB Galaxy S4 for $199.99 on contract and $649.99 off contract. The 32GB Galaxy S4 ships from July 3rd in both white and black colors.
