Unu Tablet Offer Alternative Android Gaming Device
The Android platform has certainly grown by leaps and bounds ever since it was first introduced to the masses all those years ago, and you can more or less say that it has garnered a critical mass of users now for developers to take the platform seriously. In fact, we have seen thousands of games roll out for Android in the past few years, and consoles such as the Ouya and GameStick were recently announced, where these were meant to deliver Android-powered games on your TV, as well as let you enjoy it using a wireless game controller. Well, the Unu tablet is slightly different, as this 7” device can not only function as a tablet, but it can also be plugged into your TV, where you would use it the same way as you would a game console.
At $200 a pop, some might argue that just about any Android-powered tablet with HDMI connectivity support would also be able to do the same, but the Unu tablet simplifies things since it comes with its own docking station, remote control and optional game controller. In a nutshell, the Unu tablet is not gamer-centric, since it will come in a model that does not require any game controllers, where you can just use it to watch videos or check emails.
