Ubisoft Teases Prince of Persia News Coming Next Week
It’s been a couple of years since there was a full-fledged Prince of Persia game as the last official game was a reboot of the original series, Prince of Persia, which was released back in 2009. Since then, Ubisoft has released HD remastered versions of previously released Prince of Persia games, but it looks like the company is set to announce some related to the series starting next week.
Ubisoft made their announcement teasing upcoming Prince of Persia news through the game’s official Facebook fan page. As of this writing, nearly 4 million fans have “liked” Ubisoft’s tease, which shows just how important this franchise has been for gamers around the world.
Our guess on what the Prince of Persia news could be is as good as yours, although we hope the announcement doesn’t end up being another Prince of Persia film. We certainly appreciate Jake Gyllenhaal ferocious physique in the film, but we would appreciate a new game more than watching another 2+ hour film where he gets to show off his abs.
