Today T-Mobile has started sending out invitations to the press for an event in New York City to be held on July 10th. The carrier says that it will be unveiling “boldest moves yet,” that’s just about all that it hints on the press invite, so for now one can only speculate if the announcements are going to be related to its UNcarrier initiative’s “phase 2” or about the alleged new product roadmap that was leaked earlier today.
T-Mobile launched the UNcarrier initiaitive earlier this year, it basically started offering contract free plans to customers. It seems highly unlikely that T-Mobile will schedule an entire press event just to announce some new plans and services. The carrier’s ‘Simple Choice with no credit check‘ prepaid plan is expected to go live when phase 2 kicks off. Perhaps T-Mobile will be unveiling a new device, but it is obviously too soon to say that for sure right now. We’ll let you know what the carrier announces that day in New York, so be sure to check in with us on July 10th. [Image via 9to5Google]
