Consumers tend to be rather forgiving towards companies who break their promises when it comes to delivering a piece of hardware on time as they too, want the same company to roll out a fully functional piece of hardware instead of a gimped and rushed one, although any delay that is far too long is unacceptable of course, especially when we are talking about the world of technology and changes happen at the blink of an eye. Word has it that Sony promised to deliver an Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for the Xperia ZL shortly after the smartphone’s launch, and it is nice to see that this promise has finally been kept, as the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update is now available for the Sony Xperia ZL C6503 (LTE) model throughout Europe.
You will be able to receive it via the Sony PC Companion software, or if you prefer, to take the over-the-air (OTA) route. It is within our expectations that the rest of the Xperia ZL flavors as well as additional countries, too, would participate in the roll out of the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update in the coming weeks.
