Sony Mobile already has press events lined up in two countries – one in the West, and the other in the East, with Germany and Shanghai all set to greet June 25 with renewed vigor. In fact, the German press invite can be more or less translated to the following (feel free to correct us, of course, as German is not our strong suite where languages are concerned), “Looking for More? It is time for the next step. On Tuesday, the 25th June 2013 at 15:00 we take a first look at the future together.”
Wordplay is always an interesting aspect of advertising, and the use of the word “more” could very well signify a connection to the rumored 6.44” phablet that has been dubbed as the Sony Xperia Z Ultra by online communities so far. There will also be another meeting that will be held on the same day in Shanghai, China, where Sony’s Vice President Kunimasa Suzuki and Sony China’s Vice President Roland Cheng are tipped to be part of the attendance entourage.
