Snapchat continues to grow in popularity, which means it should only be fitting that its iOS app receives an update to help push the service along its way to become even more popular.
Snapchat has released its 5.0 update, which switches the overall look and feel of the app’s UI to a more swipe-driven control scheme. Other improvements being introduced in today’s update is the ability for users to double tap in order to reply to a message, the ability to create in-app profiles as well as additional improvements to Snapchat’s design and speed.
The official release notes, which include all of the updates made available in version 5.0, can be found after the break. If you’re a regular user of Snapchat, then you better head on over to the App Store to download this pretty big update immediately.
