We’ve been hearing rumors and seeing alleged leaked photos of Samsung’s new tablet, the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, and sure enough the South Korean tech giant has unveiled the tablet in its official capacity during Computex 2013. Unfortunately the rumors of it being powered by an Intel processor did not turn out to be true, or at least it was not suggested as Samsung has only stated that it is powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core chipset, making it ever so slightly more powerful than the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0.
It will also come with a 10.1” display and will sport a larger 6,800mAh battery, but apart from that the tablet will remain similar to the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0. This means that you can expect the same display resolution of 1280×800, 1.5GB of RAM, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a 1.3MP front-facing camera and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean running the show. Still no word on pricing or a specific date of availability, but Samsung stated that they will be releasing the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 sometime later this month.
