Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Tablet Spotted At Microsoft BUILD
It was not too long ago when Qualcomm made an announcement that their Snapdragon 800 ARM-based chipset is making its way to a slew of Windows RT 8.1 devices, where the first of such models were destined to launch later in the year. Other than that, there was nothing much revealed about such a machine, at least not until Microsoft’s BUILD developer conference that is happening in San Francisco. Do bear in mind that the tablet which you feast your eyes upon is not meant for production, as it is 100% destined for development purposes, being based on the ‘Liquid’ tablet reference design that made its debut alongside the Snapdragon S4 sometime in late 2011.
If there ever was a generic tablet design, this would be it – although we do know that some of the more important features that are thrown into the mix include a mini-HDMI port, NFC and SD memory card slot. Other than that, we do know that it comes with an 11.6” display and has a 12-megapixel camera to keep it company.
