The console wars have begun. We reported that Xbox One pre-order stock at Amazon had sold out within 24 hours of being available, while Microsoft’s latest console was restocked, we reported that Sony’s PlayStation 4 ‘Launch Edition’ was sold out at Amazon. Apart from gaining the bragging rights attached to this edition, those who managed to get their orders in would be eligible for receiving their brand new PlayStation 4 on release day. Since ‘Launch Edition’ sold out, Amazon started selling ‘Standard Edition,’ which won’t be delivered until 31st December. Now I know there are many gamers out there who can’t fathom having to wait this long. Luckily, Amazon is offering a couple of other bundles that come with release day guarantee.
First up we have the Watch Dogs and Knack edition of Sony PlayStation 4, they obviously come with the console as well as these respective games, all for $460. Then there are Killzone and Battlefield 4 editions, which come with the respective games as well as one year membership of PlayStation Plus, for $499.90. Once again, Amazon is providing a release day guarantee with these bundles, customers will receive them the day Sony releases PlayStation 4 for the masses.
