Nokia NFC Writer App Makes More Advances
It seems that the Nokia NFC Writer app is making plenty of progress in terms of growth. Originally talked about by Nokia in April, the folks behind the Nokia NFC Writer app have been more than hardworking, where they were busy introducing new features and functionality to the app. Just what kind of changes can we expect in the latest edition? Well for starters, the app has been localized in nine languages, namely English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Finnish, Portuguese – Brazilian and Portugal, and Swedish, and it can also be downloaded for free across a slew of major markets worldwide.
Not only that, there are also dozens of programmable NFC tags to choose from, where among them include being able to make a call, sending a text, posting a Tweet, or even to share a physical address using HERE Maps. You are able to integrate it with the address book on your handset, letting you write tags which are specific to individuals that you need to reach right away, without having to search for additional contact information. These tags can then be used to launch apps on your phone, or it could also be used to launch a list of preprogrammed top apps that hail from the Windows Phone Store. It is starting to look as though NFC has a bright future ahead, don’t you think so?
