Lenovo IdeaPad U330, U430 Ultrabooks Will Feature Haswell Processors

Lenovo is preparing to update a number of its ultrabooks to feature Intel Haswell processors as the company recently unveiled its U430 and U330 ultrabooks.

The Lenovo IdeaPad U330 looks like it will be an updated version of its 13-inch U310 ultrabook, while the IdeaPad U430 will be a completely new 14-inch ultrabook. The 13-inch U330 will support up to 8GB of RAM and feature a 500GB hard drive and 16GB SSD, HDMI, 2 USB 3.0 ports, a USB 2.0 port and an SD card reader. You’ll be able to customize the U330 with a choice of Intel Core i3 or Intel Core i5 processor as well as a screen resolution of 1366 x 768 and 1920 x 1080.

As for the 14-inch U430, information regarding this particular ultrabook is scarce, but it will feature a Qualcomm Atheros wireless card with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and, as the name suggest, will feature a 14-inch touchscreen display.

At this point, we’re not sure when Lenovo will announce these Haswell-powered ultrabooks in the U.S., but we’re hoping it’ll be sometime soon as the more Haswell we have in our life, the better.
