It is heartwarming to see how a video game franchise has grown to such an extent, that the music created for it have entered mainstream consciousness and is deemed good enough to carry out concerts based entirely off the video game itself. Case in point, Nintendo’s Legend of Zelda that has thrilled and frustrated gamers for more than two decades already. Having said that, we recently caught a trailer of Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, but I digress. If you are interested in Legend of Zelda music, then you might want to make time to catch the Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses concert series that is on tour at the moment in the US as well as Canada.
In this effort, it would merge not only gaming but orchestra music as well in what has been described as a totally unpredictable way, although your ears, if they are adventurous enough, should be more than happy with the results. You can even opt to dress up in cosplay if you want to, while a massive projector screen will show off 16-bit graphics from The Legend of Zelda that has since become a classic. I wonder if a Mario symphony would be as fun…
