Huawei Ascend W2 Official Specs Revealed
Huawei has been teasing their upcoming Windows Phone device, the Ascend W2 for a while now, and it looks like the handset has been revealed in its official glory over at the 2013 Mobile Asia Expo. Considering that Windows Phone handsets aren’t as powerful when compared to Android devices like the Samsung Galaxy S4 or the HTC One, we guess the specs of the Ascend W2 aren’t that surprising, but at the same time they do feel somewhat underwhelming, especially in the face of Nokia’s Windows Phone efforts which has tried to separate itself from the competition by offering added features.
So if you wanted to get the Ascend W2, what could you expect for your money? Well according to the official spec list, the phone will feature a 4.3” 800×480 display, a dual-core 1.4GHz processor with 512MB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage and will run the latest version of Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8. Given those specs we expect the Ascend W2 won’t be breaking the bank anytime soon, which is good for those looking to hop aboard the Windows Phone bandwagon without having to spend too much money. A release date and pricing have yet to be shared.
