We’ve been hearing about a certain HTC T6, HTC’s second attempt at a phablet which supposedly will sport a whopping 6” display, but will it actually be called the T6 upon launch? Doesn’t really have a ring to it, does it? Well according to analyst Alvin Kwock from J.P. Morgan Hong Kong, he was quoted as saying, “Many carriers are highly interested in the HTC One Max smartphone, as it is the only flagship model with a uni-body casing back-cover to be released in the second half of this year.” Based on his statement, it would seem as though there is a good chance that the HTC T6 could actually be launched as the HTC One Max which definitely sounds better in terms of marketing. Not to mention this would stand as a nice contrast to the rumored HTC M4, which might also be known as the HTC One Mini (Mini, Max, get it?). Of course it is possible that Kwock’s reference to the handset might merely be a placeholder name, but either way you guys can now keep an eye out for devices going by the name T6 or the One Max.
