HTC One is undoubtedly one of the best selling Android smartphones available in the market today, it has reportedly sold over five million units around the globe. Everyone knows that HTC has got a hit on its hands, with the company recently expanding this offering by introducing a “Nexus Experience” variant as well. Rumor has it that HTC is working on a Windows Phone 8 variant which is going to be quite similar to the HTC One.
It is believed that this Windows Phone 8 smartphone will not be totally identical to HTC One, but there will be a few similarities. The display would range between 4 to 5 inches, an Ultrapixel camera is likely to be found on the back, Beats Audio is expected to be on-board and the smartphone itself is rumored to be fashioned mostly out of metal. HTC is said to announce this rumored device in fall, with it presumably being released around the holiday season. It may run the Windows Phone 8 GDR3 update at launch. This is the first we’ve heard of such a device, and if it indeed on the way, we just might hear more rumors about it over the next couple of weeks.
