Google Drops Banhammer On Google Glass Porn Apps

Google is not a company to be trifled with, and we all know that they have big dreams and hopes when it comes to the Google Glass, a piece of wearable electronics that will definitely change the way we see things, literally. It was just last week when we talked about how there might be the first porn app coming over to Google Glass, thanks to the folks over at MiKandi, but it seems that there has been a change of plans as Google decided to take on a far more strict stance with their Google Play store, where porn apps will be banned from Google Glass.

Obviously, the very first app that will be affected by this particular move would be MiKandi’s Tits & Glass, as this one app was meant to come with its fair share of porn videos as well as photos which will be specially optimized so that Google Glass wearers will be able to get some on the move in a discreet manner. Google has also taken the next step by changing their developer policy to reflect this ban on explicit content, as their developer policy now reads, “Sexually Explicit Material: We don’t allow Glassware content that contains nudity, graphic sex acts, or sexually explicit material. Google has a zero-tolerance policy against child pornography. If we become aware of content with child pornography, we will report it to the appropriate authorities and delete the Google Accounts of those involved with the distribution.”
