Sometime at the end of last month, we talked about how the recently introduced Gigabyte BRIX computers packed quite a punch as a desktop machine which is small and stylish enough to be placed in your living room without looking out of place. Well, on the showfloor of Computex 2013 that is happening right now in Taiwan, the folks over at Engadget have managed to capture photos of a quartet of new prototypes of BRIX mini PCs that could eventually result in an expanded catalog, assuming these prototypes obtain a warm enough reception to garner market production support.
I guess you can say that these concepts are more or less evolution instead of taking the revolution road, where they sport some decent designs alongside a mixture of AMD Kabini and Intel Haswell processors. One of the concepts, however, do come with a wireless charging pad that can juice up your power hungry smartphone in a cinch, while the other boasts of an integrated pico projector that would allow you to perform on-the-spot presentations. There is no word as to whether these BRIX models will eventually enter production, but one can always hope, can they not?
