Google had announced last month that it would be bringing voice search to Chrome for iOS. They’ve delivered on that promise. The new Chrome for iOS with voice search is now available for download. The feature allows users to speak out their queries, the results are then shown in omnibox. In some cases the results may be spoken back as well.
Apart from the voice search feature, the new Chrome for iOS update brings a host of stability and security improvements as well as bug fixes. Even when the network is unreliable or slow, the app will reload pages faster than ever before. With text being streamed on the go, voice recognition is faster and accurate, web results are tailored to the user’s queries. Google says that the update will be rolling out in the iTunes App Store over the next few hours. Do try this new Google Chrome app and let us know what you think about the voice search feature. It is bound to make querying Google from an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch a lot faster and easier.
