android-4.2.2-xperia-z

Only yesterday we reported that Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update for Sony Xperia Z was coming soon. While the official release has still not been announced, Android 4.2.2 for Xperia Z has been leaked. Since this is a leaked build, it can only be installed on units that have their bootloaders unlocked. To be clear though, installing leaked firmwares is not recommended. The build might be unstable and full of bugs, so its always better to wait around for the official firmware to drop.

The Android 4.2.2 update for Sony Xperia Z will bring the smartphone at par, in software terms, with the likes of Galaxy S4 and even HTC One that’s due to receive Android 4.2.2 update soon as well. This particular leaked build corresponds to build number 10.3.A.0.407 and is not going to be flawless to use all day, it is highly likely that somethings might not work. This is an unofficial build after all. Those who want to get an idea of what this update will bring for Sony’s flagship smartphone, can go ahead and install leaked Android 4.2.2 build on Xperia Z.
