Dubbed S7-392 this new AcerS7 gets a 1080p IPS touchscreen (10-point multi-touch) which can be upgraded at order-time to a massive 2560×1440 resolution. This is massive pixel density for a thin 13.3″ laptop. Obviously, the reason why it is announced today is because it features Intel latest Haswell processor also known as 4th Gen Core.
Acer has been adamant in saying that it uses the best possible materials, and to prove it, it has built the new S7 with a single-block aluminum unibody. In the real-world, this should translate into a super-stiff laptop. We just want wait to get our hands on one for a review. Acer won’t reveal more specifics for now, but availability is set for “Q3”, so we still have a bit of time.
