The folks over at Engadget managed to grab hold of TCL’s custom-skinned MoVo Google TV platform and 4K TVs at CES earlier this year as you can see above, so put two and two together, and you get a complete picture of the merger. TCL’s MoVo will carry customizations that include a motion sensor which is capable of recognizing each user while personalizing offerings depending on one’s habits. Otherwise known as Personal Box Office (PBO) or “Lazy TV”, it will search the available content while making a recommendation without having to have a remote control or a voice command. It ought to be out later this year, but whether it will hit the US or not remains to be seen.
