According to a tweet by Yoshida, he was quoted as saying that, “”Death Ray Manta” coming to PlayStation Vita”, which is a play on the acronym DRM. This was followed up by a tweet from Sony business development manager, Shahid Kamal Ahmad, who said, “That’s right Shuhei, we are going to have “DRM” on PlayStation Vita. ;-)” This does not actually answer the issue on DRMs on the PS4, but tweets by other Sony executives and this rather light-hearted jab at DRMs from the president himself has been speculated by some to be a good sign of things to come and could favor gamers. In any case make what you will of it, but we guess we will know more during E3, so check back with us then for the details.
