San Francisco Apple Store Moving Soon
Apple is on the move up, and I am not referring to their stock price, but rather, the fact that their flagship retail store in San Francisco is set to shift a few blocks away from its present location. Obviously, the new location will boast of a larger space and will be located in the City by the Bay’s high-end shopping district. In fact, Apple has already submitted its plans to open a new store at Stockton and Post streets in Union Square which is set to replace the current Apple Store that is already 9 years old and situated at Stockton and Ellis streets.
Levi’s used to be the tenant at the upcoming Apple Store’s site, and it is said to be 45% larger compared to the existing store. Obviously, to have a larger store would translate to more job opportunities since a bigger staff roll is required, and we are looking at approximately 400 employees which so happens to be around 50 more compared to the number whom they currently employ at the moment. It seems that the new store will feature a couple of levels with translucent sides and an all-glass front, although there has been no timeline for construction or opening being announced to date.
