Samsung Galaxy S4 Storage Issues Acknowledged

Samsung has stepped forward to acknowledge that the Samsung Galaxy S4, despite being their flagship device, is still not perfect, as users have complained that despite it coming with 16GB of storage space on paper, more than 45% of its storage is already taken up by the footprint of the Android operating system sprinkled with some of Samsung’s pre-installed software, resulting in just 8.82GB of storage space left for user data. Of course, this could very well be the main reason why Samsung does offer larger capacities for the Galaxy S4, such as 32GB and 64GB.

Apart from that, a handful of British Galaxy S4 owners did complain to BBC One’s Watchdog that they should investigate and confront Samsung concerning the storage issue, since all of the bloatware, or so it is called, certainly makes life a whole lot more difficult to maximize the enjoyment of the Galaxy S4 for its entry level model. Samsung did mention that they “appreciate this issue being raised and will review their customer communication for future products”, but there is always the microSD memory card slot to save the day, right?
