Razer Blade Announced

Earlier this evening, we read on how NVIDIA rolled out their latest GeForce GTX 700M chipset that will cater for fast and thin gaming notebooks, and one of the first few products that you can see carry this graphics chipset would be the Razer Blade, touted to be the world’s thinnest gaming notebook. For real, yo, as we are referring to less than 0.66” thin, which would make it thinner than your regular dime, and hence making this gaming notebook a truly unique proposition since it packs in more power-per-cubic inch compared to other notebooks in the world.

Pricing for the Razer Blade starts from $1,799 onwards as pre-orders are made available this June 3rd, and you can choose from 128GB, 256GB or 512GB SSD configurations. Other hardware specifications include the future 4th generation Intel Core processor, 8GB RAM, Windows 8 as the operating system of choice, a Qualcomm Killer NIC N1202 (802.11a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, a 14” HD+ display at 1600 x 900 resolution with LED backlight, integrated stereo speakers, a trio of USB 3.0 ports, Dolby Home Theater v4 with 7.1 Codec support via HDMI, a 1.3-megapixel camera, a Razer Anti-Ghosting Keyboard with adjustable backlight and Kensington Lock for that added peace of mind.
