So in terms of smartphones launched with the latest Blackberry 10 operating system, we know that there is the Z10 and the Q10, both of which are high-end devices, but what about mid or low-ranged Blackberry 10 smartphones? Well we do know that Blackberry is working on another smartphone as part of its R-series, and thanks to a photo posted on Instagram, it seems that we might be looking at the Blackberry 10 R-series captured on camera in a red finish.
While we personally cannot verify the legitimacy of the photo, the folks at N4BB seem to be pretty sure that this is the real thing. The R-series is expected to be an entry-level Blackberry 10 device which will cater to users who want the QWERTY Blackberry 10 experience but don’t want to pay the full price for a Q10. The exact specifications of this R-series smartphone remain unknown at this point, nor are we sure when Blackberry will be announcing it, but stay tuned for more updates in the future!
