According to Olympus, some of the main features of the E-PL6 include a touch AF shutter which basically combines autofocus with the touchscreen display, allowing photographers to focus on their subjects simply by tapping the display. There will also be a range of twelve Art filters for photographers to choose from, a 170-degree swivel monitor, a Short Release Time Lag mode, ISO LOW settings, Interval Shooting, Time Lapse movies and so on.
It should be noted that the E-PL6 has not been announced by Olympus America, UK or Europe, meaning that the E-PL6 could remain exclusive to Asia for the moment. In any case the camera is expected to be available by the end of June, so perhaps by then Olympus might have announced something for the rest of the world.
