We’ve seen a couple of leaked photos of Olympus’ upcoming E-P5 mirrorless camera in the past, but now additional photos have surfaced, this time that of the E-PL6 along with the premium model version of the E-P5, which based on what we can see, looks like a mere aesthetic change rather than actual hardware differences, although we guess we will need an official announcement to see if there are any differences between either model.
Both the E-P5 and the E-PL6 are expected to be mirrorless camera systems, with the E-P5 being a higher end model, while the E-PL6 is priced somewhat more affordably at $1,000 and $700 respectively. The E-P5, according to leaked specifications and photos, is expected to sport a 16MP sensor with a tilting LCD display, and will come with wireless capabilities that will allow photographers to transfer photos from the camera to other devices, like smartphones, tablets, or laptops, without the need for cables.
