No “Nexus” Edition Of The HTC One Planned
With the launch of the stock version of the Samsung Galaxy S4, we’re sure many are wondering if other manufacturers might hop aboard this bandwagon. After all the announcement seems to have been well-received, so why not, right? The bad news is that this does not look to be the case, at least as far as HTC is concerned. After the announcement of the stock Galaxy S4, there were rumors that suggested that HTC could be looking to do the same with the HTC One. However the rumors were then quickly quashed by HTC themselves who revealed that the Taiwanese company was not planning a “Nexus edition” of the HTC One, and that they will be keeping the phone as it is. We guess this isn’t that big of a deal since Android users can always flash a custom stock ROM onto the HTC One if they wish to lose the Sense UI, but we guess there are some who might prefer the convenience of having it removed upon purchase.
