The roar of a motorcycle is something we’re sure Tim Allen loves to hear on a regular basis, and this motorcycle which features a 150hp Rotec Radial R3600 airplane engine will probably make him grunt uncontrollably, to the point where he may pass out from the sheer power of the motorcycle.
The motorcycle was put together by German mechanic Frank Ohle over the course of 18 months, which we would guess took a ton of work to create a motorcycle around an engine that includes custom chassis, painting, suspension and electronics. Having an airplane engine on a motorcycle would be cool on its own, but the bike actually is able to run, and boy, is it ever noisy.
A video featuring the custom motorcycle shows it in action as Ohle is able to drive it around a lot. The best part of this video is the little propeller that is located at the end of the engine, which we’re not sure if it’s there for aesthetic reasons or if it’s actually needed. Either way, we think it looks super cool and can provide a nice breeze, that is, if speeding down a road doesn’t provide enough of one.
