These two devices will be NFC-enabled Bluetooth speakers, where one is able to pair NFC-equipped devices to the Airwave through the simple gesture of tapping your smartphone against the speaker, and there will also be an integrated microphone which paves the way for you to use the Airwave and Airwave HD as a speakerphone. Those who do not own an NFC-enabled device, fret not, you can still perform a Bluetooth connection the old fashioned manner. The Airwave HD is capable of playing nice with a couple of NFC-connected devices simultaneously, but that would mean a whole lot less battery life of just 5 hours in comparison to the less powerful Airwave that can handle up to a dozen hours of non-stop playback on a single charge. No word on a US release just yet, although the Airwave and Airwave HD will arrive in their home market this June for $103) and$160, respectively.
