ASUS PQ321 4K Monitor Unveiled
Most monitors these days are able to display Full HD resolutions at 1920×1080, but with UHD/4K televisions starting to emerge, there could be a day in the future where 4K is the new standard. If you’re an early adopter and would like to get your foot in the door, it seems that ASUS might have something for you. The company has unveiled ahead of Computex 2013 a new 31.5” monitor that is capable of displaying 4K resolution of 3840×2160, basically giving the monitor a pixel density of 140ppi.
The ASUS PQ321 sports an IGZO LED backlit panel with an 8ms response time, a display port, 2x HDMI, RS-232C, a 3.5mm audio in and out, 2W stereo speakers, and is also adjustable in tilt, swivel and height. The ASUS PQ321 is expected to be available in North America towards the end of June, but no word on pricing yet, but if 4K televisions are anything to go by, do not expect this monitor to be cheap.
