One of the apps that Windows phone owners are lacking on their devices would be Instagram. While there are Instagram alternatives for Windows Phone, unfortunately they aren’t as popular, especially if your goal is to follow celebrities or friends with Instagram accounts on your phone. Will there be an Instagram released for Windows Phone? Well as it turns out, it seems that Nokia’s official Facebook page in Sweden might have accidentally let the cat out of the bag, claiming that Instagram is on the way but no date is available. The comment has since been deleted, and while it might be said in error, a tweet back in March also by Nokia Sweden has suggested that the app is in development. Take what you will from this, for all we know Nokia’s customer rep has the wrong info, hence the deleted comment, or they might have spoken out of line which led to the comment being deleted. Either way we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information, so stay tuned for updates.
