LG Optimus G Pro Sells Over 500k Units In South Korea
The LG Optimus G Pro is not a smartphone that you are able to see commonly used in the US, simply because it has yet to be made available Stateside, being released just in their home country at this moment in time. Having said that, a relatively short run on the store shelves in South Korea has certainly proven to be a bountiful one, as LG has laid claim to a new sales record. It is said that the LG Optimus G Pro actually notched up a cool 10,000 orders at launch, which leads to the final figure of 500,000 units being sold in a matter of 40 days after launch.
I guess a lot of its success has to do with it following in the footsteps of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, where it will feature the new Qualcomm 600 quad-core processor, not to mention some promotions for the LG Optimus G Pro doing its bit to help shift sales figures to new heights. Would you be stoked to get the LG Optimus G Pro when it finally hits our shores? [Press Release]
