LG Lucid 2 Officially Announced By Verizon
The other we reported that it was possible that the LG Lucid 2 would be arriving on Verizon come 4th of April, and for those shopping on a budget, we guess the Lucid 2 could right up your alley. True enough the phone has been announced by Verizon and will be available in stores this Thursday, 4th of April. It will also be free of charge, providing you are willing to sign a two-year contract with Verizon. Not a bad deal, but then again the specs of the LG Lucid 2 leave a lot to be desired, but like we said, shoppers on a budget will probably find that this phone will be more than capable of getting simple tasks done.
So what sort of specs are we looking at? Well this phone is essentially a modified LG Optimus F5 and will come with a 4.3” qHD display and will run on Android Jelly Bean, which we guess isn’t too bad. The phone will also pack a 2,460Ah battery which we have to say is pretty decent, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Krait dual-core processor, and wireless charging capabilities although the wireless charging battery cover is sold separately. It will even come with a “Starter Mode” which is basically where Verizon helps to arrange your home screens so that new smartphone users won’t get confused or lost in the sea of menus and home screens.
