Inhon Blade 13 Carbon Is One Light Notebook

Have you ever heard of Inhon before? Neither have we, but it has come to our attention that this Taiwanese PC manufacturer might have some reasonable technological expertise up their sleeves, considering how the Blade 13 Carbon that you see above has emboldened Inhon to lay claim to the title of this particular notebook being the thinnest and lightest of its kind in the world, tipping the scales at a mere 870 grams while taking up just 10.7mm of space in terms of thickness.

If you need a point of reference, take into consideration Apple’s 13” MacBook Air, which was once the epitome of ultraportables, where that model tips the scales at a positively hefty 1.35kg (in comparison, of course), and measures 17mm at its thickest point. The Blade 13 Carbon from Inhon will come with Windows 8 as the operating system of choice, where it is powered by an Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processor, carry a 128GB or 256GB SSD, sport a Full HD 13” display, and 4GB RAM. It does not look like the Blade 13 Carbon will ever make its way to the US, although we do know that shipping of the Blade 13 Carbon will commence in Taiwan later this June from $1,350 onwards.
