Assuming you are a proud owner of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus over at Verizon Wireless, surely you would realize by now that this is one particular Nexus device that seems to fall short when it comes to the kind of Android updates it receives, or rather, the lack of it. After all, other Galaxy Nexus models have already received the Android 4.2 update some time ago, but the Galaxy Nexus from Verizon remained the same. Until now, that is.

Well, an Android tipster who has gotten things right a fair number of times in the past, the oxymoronically-named WinDroidGuy, managed to get hold of the updated ZIP package, and those who are interested will be able to perform a download, where the ZIP package will be 88.8MB in size, so you might want to fall back on a decent Internet connection and keep yourself occupied with other things at the moment. For those who have upgraded the Verizon Galaxy Nexus to Android 4.2.2, how do you find it so far?
