Sony NEX-7n’s Rumored April Announced Postponed
A couple of weeks ago, we reported that Sony’s upcoming NEX-7n was rumored for an April launch. Unfortunately that no longer appears to be the case because according to the folks at Sony Alpha Rumors, they claim that the launch has been delayed although no new dates have been given. However they claim that according to their source, the delay isn’t too big and it is not that far off, so we guess we it’s not that bad after all. Considering that Sony has yet to confirm that a NEX-7n even exists, we guess it’s hard to be disappointed that a rumored product has been delayed, but for those looking forward to new Sony cameras, you guys will probably have to sit tight and wait for the official announcement at a later date.
For those who haven’t been keeping up with the rumors, it has been rumored for a while now that Sony could be introducing a successor to the NEX-7, called the NEX-7n. This new mirrorless camera is said to sport a 24MP APS-C sensor with a ½ stop improvement and increased dynamic range, a 3.8 million dot EVF, and even WiFi capabilities! The design is also said to be somewhat similar to the NEX-7, albeit with some slight changes.
