The Nikon D7100 was announced just last month and if you were thinking about getting your hands on it, it seems that you could be looking at a possible $100 discount come 14th of March, which is when the camera is expected to start shipping. Unfortunately this purported discount will only apply to the camera with the kit lens (18-105mm), so if you were hoping to get the discount for the body-only version, you’d be out of luck. Priced at $1,596.95, if the rumors are true, you should be able to pick it up for $1,496.95 which we guess seems like a pretty good deal. This isn’t the first time Nikon has announced such a deal. In fact they did something similar with the Nikon 1 V2 last year, so it wouldn’t be completely out of the question if they did something similar with the D7100. Either way don’t get your hopes up just yet, but be sure to keep your eyes peeled and mark the 14th of March down on your calendars.
