Not so long ago we heard that HTC had two new smartphones in the pipeline. These are the HTC Desire P and the HTC Desire Q. Today specifications and photos of both of these devices have been revealed. They’re obviously Android powered smartphones meant for the low and mid-range markets. It is not known as yet what version of Android both of these smartphones running. Launch plans for countries other than China and Taiwan are also not known.
The HTC Desire P has a 4.3 inch WVGA display, an 8 megapixel rear camera as well as a front facing one. It is powered by a 1Ghz dual core processor. It has support for microSD card to expand memory. Beats Audio technology can also be found on board. It will be available in red and white colors. China Mobile will begin offering it soon to their customers for approximately $360. The HTC Desire Q has a 4 inch display and will be available in white, red and black colors. It is expected to go on sale in Taiwan first. It too has Beats Audio technology on board. Retail price is expected to be around $230.
