Alleged iPhone 5S Components Surface

We guess it wouldn’t be a complete shocker if Apple went ahead and announced an iPhone 5S later this year. After all that seems to be Apple’s habit of releasing products based on previous releases, so there’s no reason to believe this year will be any different. In any case the folks at Nowhereelse.fr have stumbled across several components from Japanese vendor, Moumantai, that allegedly belong to the iPhone 5S. These components include the home button, the vibration mechanism and the volume/mute cable.

It’s hard to tell what the final look of the iPhone 5S will look like, but if these are the parts belonging to the iPhone 5S, then there are some slight changes, at least internally. The iPhone 5S’ home button flex cable appears to be longer, and the vibrator is appeared to be attached to the flex cable that supports the volume and mute switch and is of a more compact layout compared to the iPhone 5. Once again we’re not sure what this means. Could Apple just be tidying up the internals for posterity’s sake, or could we be looking at a redesign? Take this with a grain of salt for now, but check back with us down the road where hopefully more details will be available.
