ZTE Grand Memo Unveiled

[MWC 2013] It certainly seems like the phablet form factor is starting to catch on as ZTE has announced the Grand Memo at MWC 2013. The device is an Android powered smartphone with a whopping 5.7” display which you may or may not find very comfortable to use as a phone. However for activities such as typing up documents, emails or surfing the web, we expect the 5.7” display should be pretty comfortable to use. As far as the rest of its specs are concerned, the ZTE Grand Memo will feature a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset under the hood with 1GB of RAM, a 13MP camera and will run Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

The ZTE Grand Memo will also come with some exclusive features, such as ZTE Safe to help with power management, software management and security. ZTE Drive will be the navigational feature, and its keyboard will also shift towards the left or right for one handed typing. ZTE also claims that the Grand Memo will be the first phone to incorporate Dolby Digital Plus. The phone will also come with a sizable 3,200mAh battery, measure 8.4mm thin and is expected to launch later this year. Unfortunately no word on pricing or specific launch dates just yet.
