Samsung Galaxy Young And Galaxy Fame Announced

Samsung has a couple of new smartphones announced for the masses, namely the Samsung Galaxy Young and Galaxy Fame, which will specifically target the youth market who tend to concentrate a whole lot on gaming and media. The smartphones’ respective names will point toward their target audience, with the Galaxy Young sporting a 1GHz processor, 768MB RAM, a 3.27-inch HVGA TFT display, a 3-megapixel camera at the back, 4GB of internal memory that can be further expanded via a microSD memory card slot, and a 1,300mAh battery, resembling a Galaxy S3 albeit coming in a far smaller form factor – running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, of course.

As for the Samsung Galaxy Fame, it will remain very similar to the Galaxy Young, albeit offering features that differ slightly. The Fame will come with a 3.5-inch HVGA TFT display, a similar 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, a 5-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, optional NFC support and a 1,300mAh battery, also with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in tow. There is still no word on pricing or availability details on either device as at press time.
