So, Sony Mobile did declare their intention to roll out a smartphone that will run on the Firefox OS platform, while carrying the Xperia name which has been the domain of Google’s Android operating system so far. Well, there are other smartphone manufacturers in the market who would not mind to expand their horizons, among them include ZTE, Alcatel, LG and Huawei.
It seems that the first image of LG’s maiden device, in addition to those from Huawei, that will run on the Firefox OS has been spotted, and where better to do such sleuthing other than at the Mobile World Congress which is held in Barcelona, Spain, until later this week? What you see is the handset from Huawei, where it was spotted at Telefonica’s booth. Thing is, other than the external shell, we practically know nuts about both devices, since nary a detail has been spared, especially the important nitty gritty such as pricing, release date, and of course, detailed hardware specifications on parts underneath the hood that would make geeks drool if it resonates with them.
