The rumor was first started by a Russian website, Hi-Tech, which leaked images and specs of the android phones. The cheapest model of smartphones from Archos is the Archos 35 Carbon. With a 3.5 inch display and a resolution of 320 x 480 pixel the device will sport a 1GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, 512 MB built in memory, memory extension with microSD card support, a 5MP camera and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The device will support dual SIM functionality as well as a 1,500mAh battery. The price of the unit is rumored at $120.
The next smartphone in line is the Archos 48 Platinum. The smartphone will be a bit more expensive then the Archos 35 as its specifications are a bit higher. Sporting a 4.8 inch display and 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, the device will have a 1.7GHz quad-core processor, more memory then Archose 35 and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The device will also have 3G as well as FM Radio, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0. The device is rumored to be priced at $333.
Lastly the Archos 52 Titanium is the biggest of all three smartphones. The device will have a 5.2 inch display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution, while it will be powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory. The device will also have a 5MP camera and 2,200mAh battery. No information on pricing was available, but all three Android phones are rumored to hit the market around April
