Apple Passbook Accepted At 13 MLB Stadiums For 2013 Season

Are you a huge fan of Major League Baseball (MLB)? If you have answered in the affirmative, then you will be pleased to hear that Apple’s Passbook will soon be made acceptable at 13 MLB stadiums for the coming 2013 season. In fact, Major League Baseball recently announced that they will be introducing nine more locations to the roster of ballparks which will play nice with digital tickets which are stored and presented via Apple’s Passbook iOS app.

This goes to show just how far technology has come, and it has also permeated every strata of society, including social and sporting events. The 2013 season will see the Baltimore Orioles, Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers, Milwaukee Brewers, Minnesota Twins, Oakland Athletics and Pittsburgh Pirates be part of the group which includes the San Francisco Giants, New York Mets, Boston Red Sox and Kansas City Royals when it comes to offering support for Passbook tickets. Other than that, there were another three teams who have signed on, but have yet to step forward to issue an official statement.
